Frequently Asked Questions

About the workout

I’m new to Coastal Core, should I schedule a private lesson?

There is no need to schedule a private lesson, unless of course you want to, OR you have physical limitations that may prevent you from joining a traditional class. As with anything new, there’s an adjustment period, but our instructors are trained to work with any ability level. We ask that you remain patient, stay focused and get ready to feel the #megalove!

Is Coastal Core pilates?

Coastal Core Fitness is not pilates, but may appear similar. The main differentiator is the MegaFormer™. The MegaFormer™ allows us to utilize the key elements of core stability and combine them with the fusion of muscle dynamics through a low-impact, high intensity and cardiovascular workout.

How often should I come to class?

We believe in rest and recuperation- ideally we hope our clients come at least 3 times/week, but ultimately you determine what’s best for your body
